Lisa Thompson Finding The Right Coach

I’m a qualified PT myself and started competing naturally back in 2016. When I moved to the Gold Coast from Melbourne over 2 years ago, it took me quite some time to find the ‘right’ coach, and as serendipity would have it, I met Rob. 

Rob brings over 20 year’s experience as a PT and coach, a World Champion bodybuilder himself so I benefit from the experience of an athlete who has been on the global stage and knows what it takes to reach the peak of performance. 

My split program changes on a 4-week cycle, targeting weak spots and progressive loading. When you work with Rob, there are no short cuts, no promises of gains over-night. That’s not how it works. 

Comp prep with Rob has taken on a whole new meaning. The meal plan is flexible and macros based, so the food is flavoursome, and I never feel like I’m missing out. 

However, most of you won’t be looking for a comp prep coach, preferably a PT who will keep you accountable and will make sure your exercise program is safe (and fun).
